We read and viewed Watchmen last semester and I was so excited when I found out we would be covering it again, so excited, in fact, that I was the first to jump on board the group project with this novel/film as the subject matter.  When I initially read it I was blown away.  Ok--disclaimer--I will admit when I bought the graphic novel for the course last semester that thought "What?!? A comic book?  You've gotta be kidding me!"  How surprised I was and am now a huge fan.  I will never bash my comic book geek friend again (he just smiles like the Cheshire Cat  and says "I told you so!").  Rorschach is clearly my favorite character, and I worked on him in our group project.  His psychology just simply astounds me and I do not know whether to love or loathe him, or both.  Adrian, ah the cruel one, but soooo sexy in that Ozy costume!  Not a big fan of Night Owl, though, and the Joker is just plain twisted, but through it all his words ring true--you've gotta laugh about it to keep from crying!
