Here is my final video on its own. Since the original, I made it into more of a video essay, adding my own voice and clips arranged in a way that tells the story of each tragic villain. It took forever but I think it was worth it! Make sure to check it out in the video page.

Ok so I just spent the last 20 minutes with my heart in my throat. For whatever reason, when I tried to get onto this website to continue working, it told me the the "domain name had expired".

First of all, what does that mean?
Secondly, why did that happen?
Thirdly, why does technology always screw up the day everything is due?

I thought I was about to lose all the work I did this semester and almost threw myself off of a building until, oh wait! It starts working again?!?!?!?!?! What happened here?! I despise technology.

Hey all! Hope your exams have gone/are going well.
Here is a link to my final portfolio. I may still have a tiny amount of time to tweak it before the Monday deadline, so feel free to offer critiques/suggestions. Otherwise, I am pretty much happy with this as its final state.

Wow, this took me a while but now it is finally done. After much trial and tribulation with iMovie 08 I have come to realize they did not make it any more confusing of a program, they just changed how to define easy. After getting the hang of it, it was truly a blast to work with. The film has so many great shots and therefore options for matching up with the music, that the choosing itself became the hardest part of this assignment. That will be good for the media page where this video will obviously need some kind of directional reflection from the creator. I had fun making this, and I believe it gets better as it goes, the middle is kind of slow as I was still getting learning at that point.

This is the final cut of my video mashup. I ended up not changing very much except a bit at the end with the closing credits and a few spots where stuff didn't line up quite as well as I wanted. Windows Media player, though pretty easy to use, doesn't always reproduce your editing 100% when you export the file as a movie so hopefully it worked a little better than last time. It definitely has its limitations. Let me know what you guys think...especially if it has anything to do with the imagination being a prison for the mentally ill or those haunted by lingering thoughts of traumatic events etc. since this is an angle I want explore further in my media page.

I don't know if you guys are aware but Hardees offers a deal for UNC student that allows you to get fries and a drink for free with any thickburger. This works out to like $4.30 for a six dollar burger combo which is a pretty banging deal. The other day my friend and I were wondering about ways that we could further express our delight with the "5-star experience" at Hardees. Here are some thoughts:
1.add an extra star
2.create a six dollar burger smiley
3.from this point forward replace all exclamation points with the words "(six dollar burger)"

I am constantly on the lookout for more so if you love the thickburger and have any thoughts let me know. happy eating (six dollar burger)
