This assignment is an extension of the media page tasks you have been doing throughout the semester. You can likely use much of the materials from one or more of your media pages to complete the assignment.

Create a report on the amalgamnation.net Web site. Your report can be a revised version of one of your media pages--e.g., a report on online music education or landscape photography. Or your report could be more self-reflective--perhaps a combination of one of your media pieces and some exploration of the project somewhat akin to what is going into your portfolios.

To compose your posting, use the skills you have developed working on the dayblend site. To embed your media elements, simply copy the codes you have been using in your media pages. [I'll post more information about possible adjustment.]

Before getting started, think about the even more public nature of the site. The posting should be viewed as an article that you can more or less feel comfortable putting your name on and sending out to the Web.

You can go to http://amalgamnation.net/user/register to set up an account on the site. Once you have an account set up, select Report under the create content options.

The Web site is set up to categorize postings under the headings, photography, music, literature, film, and technology. You will need to select one of those options to make your posting.

The amalgamnation posting is due Monday Dec 7th.
