You can use the mid-term portfolio as the starting point for your final portfolio. Just open up the posting, change the title, and begin adding new materials and updating old materials.

For your final portfolio, locate additional assignments to be added to the collection.

Your major assignments should include

• a music media page
• a photography media page
• a film media page
• a podcast
• a video
• an amalgamnation.net posting

In addition, you will have some supporting submissions related to the regular assignments. There should be

• a montage
• a you've got voice assignment
• a favorite photo assignment
• a parody image assignment
• a flickr gallery

You will need to link to all of these materials in the portfolio. As with the mid-term, the portfolio is also a chance to revise the major projects. You need not go back to rework the supporting submissions. For the major projects, include links to as many drafts and revisions as you can. Use your reflection to show the processes of revision that the projects have undergone.

Also locate the blog postings or comments to the blog that you have made for every week and link to them--use the Track option under My Account and note that these can also include comments that you have made about the work of others.

Locate and collect all of your materials, revise your major projects, then develop the portfolio reflections for each project. Remember the goals--demonstrate learning, growth, effort, and excellence. Also consider how you can explore course concerns in the portfolio--literature, art, technology, culture, creativity, education, etc. Strive for rich and informative reflections.

Finally revise the cover letter. Think of the opening of the portfolio as a way to tie things together, set a tone for the portfolio, or to begin guiding readers through the materials.

The portfolio is due on the day of our final exam.
