SCRUTINIZING SCIENCE

Science is often looked at reverently. People suppose that there is no need to dispute its methods, laws, and theories. But just how concrete are the laws of science? An elephant can easily be confined by tying a rope to its leg, if it believes that the rope is indestructible. People who unquestionably take the word of science as truthful are like the elephant who does not fully examine his existence. At the same time, many rigorously question the validity of religious teachings. However, if science has less authority than people suppose, we should examine the core of science with more scrutiny. Then perhaps, people will turn a more sympathetic eye toward evolution.
