Should We Fear the Ebola Outbreak in Texas ?

Recently, Ebola disease, a form of haemorrhagic fever, was found in Alice, Texas and has killed two monkeys imported from the Phillipines. This news brought a great concern and fear in our community. In the meantime, the Texas Health Commissioner David Smith informed the population that the ebola virus in Texas did not have the same strain as that of Ebola-Zaire. Additionally, experts conluded that the particular Texas Ebola strain has not caused any problems with humans before.
