Today, cable stations, the Internet and magazines expose people of all ages to pornography. Some people might wonder what kind of effect this exposure is having on society. Many people believe that pornography is wrong. Others may support it in the defense of free speech and entertainment. I believe pornography has a negative impact on society. The negative impact is that it portrays women being controlled by men, acting in compliance to their demands. This inequality is connected to suggested criminal activity, such as abuse and rape toward women and the breakdown of respect toward women in general. The only solution is to have government regulate the type of materials that is available through the above media.
