- Week 1
- This assignment treats two readings and
asks students to do some preliminary web research.
Week 2 - Task 1
- Here we look at some possible sources to incorporate into a hyperfiction and
brainstorm about themes characters and plots.
- Task 2
- Here we look at some hyperfictions and post
our ideas to a web message forum.
Week 3 - Task 1
- Here we look at some readings on intellectual property.
- Task 2
- Some web resources and tasks
for talking about Michael Joyce's Afternoon.

- Drafting the Hyperfiction
- We use a prototype of the hyperfiction mechanism to begin working with the story
Week 5 - Task 1
- Working in groups we edit the draft of the hyperfiction.
- Task 2
- We post the final version of the hyperfiction.
Week 6 - Task 1
- We work to develop topics for a persuasive paper.
- Task 2
- We focus our topics into research questions.

- We post queries about our topics to Usenet newsgorups.
- Task 2
- We post our drafts and do peer review.
Week 8 - Task 1
- We hold discussions on Internet censorship and affirmative action.
Week 9 - Task 1
- We begin translating our essays into hyperarguments.
- Task 2
- We compose some HTML files.
Week 10 - Task 1
- We continue working on our hyperarguments.
Week 11 - Task 1
- We look at the drafts of our hyperarguments and continue revising.
Week 12 - Task 1
- We finish our hyperarguments.
Week 13 - Task 1
- We begin the informative writing assignment.
- Task 2
- We continue thinking about informative writing.

- We review each other's informative writing assignments.
