DO NOT FEAR THE INTERNET!

Coming into this classroom at the begining of the semester, I thought I knew about working with computers. Yea, you know, those things that made it really easy to type papers. When I wrote papers, I could create boldface type, hey, I could even underline things. What could they throw at me that I wouldn't be able to handle?

From the first moments in the classroom, I sensed a dialog passing between the natives that I did not recognize. Strange-sounding words like HTML, search engine, and server flittered into my conscious, and quickly dissapated my smarty pants attitude.

In order to quell the elevated blood pressure, tension headaches, and spells of nausia that this class may invoke in some of you, I have put together some helpful hints for beginners that will give you some basics in finding information, what looks good, and integrating each of these elements.
