Attendance
Each student will be allowed three absences with no penalty. Any additional unexcused absences may result in the lowering of half a letter from the student's final grade.
Dishonesty
Students are bound by the Division of Rhetoric and Composition's Statement on Scholastic Responsibility. You should read and understand the statement, before signing and returning it to me.

Requirements
Students will need to subscribe and participate on the class e-mail discussion list. Students will also need to subscribe to at least one additional mailing list or newsgroup.
Assignments
* Each student will work on four major projects during the course. These projects consist of three electronic projects and a traditional paper.

* Student may also forego two of these major assignments and develop an ongoing project that meshes with a professional interest. You'll need to clear this with me by the third week of the semsester. .

Grading
* The major projects will be given a letter grade.

* The major grades will be averaged into a final grade for the class.

* Several 3.5" high density diskettes.
