The Prophecies of Nostradamus
Great prophet or charlatan?
Were the prophecies of Nostradamus great insights into the future or the ramblings
of a crazed lunatic? Humans have traditionally been interested in their future or how the
choice of their current actions can affect the rest of their lives. Spiritual advisors and
psychic hot lines invade almost every aspect of human life. One of the greatest and well
known of the seers of the future is Michel De Nostradamus. Many believe that the prophecies
foretold by Nostradamus have come true whereas others have refuted the claims made by
Nostradamus and have come to the conclusion that his writings are simply coincidental or
vague to the point that any interpretation can be gathered from his manuscripts. This paper
will examine and weigh both sides of the argument over the validity of Nostradamus'
abilities through research into the private as well as public works of Nostradamus in order
to show that Nostradamus is in fact the greatest seer into the future of the human condition.
