Interracial Adoptions
It's not easy being green

Throughout the United States, the number of abortions and foster children is climbing rapidly, along with the number of women now on fertility drugs. The problem occurs because the majority of white women have abortions rather than give their child up for adoptions, and the majority of families who want to adopt are anglo. Meanwhile, minority children remain in foster care with no one to adopt them. Adoptive parents have trouble with interracial adoption because of the controversy that it entails. However, interracial adoptions are a positive and ethical approach to placing children in loving homes.

In a world where so many children go unloved, how can they be told they will not have a family because of the color of their skin? While many argue that interracial adoptions are wrong, they need only to look in that child’s face and consider condemning them to a life of endless foster homes. Surely, then they would agree that an interracial family is much better than no family at all.
