After multiple realizations that my goals for zaaach.com were too broad, and that the site itself was too vague, I decided to pick one thing to focus on. As I was writing my portfolio, I decided that the playlist made it clear: that "thing" should be music. On multiple occasions this semester, I have been thrilled to discover new music through our class, and I would like to hopefully give back. So, *HOPEFULLY* my personal website for the rest of the class (and into the future) is:
I would like to present myself on the web in a professional manner giving only information I deem important for others such as future colleagues or employers to see. I also would like to include some information on my interests, maybe a page of suggested books, media, or other resources that I find useful and/or interesting.
The domain name that I have selected is jadaniels.com which is just my first tow initials and my last name. This gives the website the most professional perspective while, also giving direct reference to me.
Here are some excellent personal websites for individuals.
All of these websites (with maybe the exception of Friedman's) are all excellent examples of personal pages. They are all relatively simple, not wishing to berate the view with constant stimulation. They have two or three colors and have simple easy to navigate layouts. These ideas I want to emulate in my own website.
