Some Video Tips

Here is a really quick sketch for how you can work with video clips:

You can also import these clips into iMovie. Or you can just edit and export the clips you want using mpegstreamclip as quicktime format.

Once you have files in quicktime format, you can embed them into the Web essay page. Here are some tips for that:

You can upload a video--if it is not too large--by attaching it to your Web essay. You will then see a link at the bottom of the posting. Using that link information, you can embed the video like this:

At some point, you may also need to convert video formats. You can use the Web site zamzar.com to convert files. You can also download a program called mediacoder (for PC).

Note that you can also use the zamzar.com site to download/convert youtube videos.
