I re-did my first draft, but I'm still not entirely sure I can call it my "Final Draft" yet. I worked on some of the volume problems I was having, and tried using the "Compress" effect on audacity to fix it. I think the volume sounds better, and there's not as much contrast between the volume of my voice and the volume of the songs. I also took out some of the interview, and added more of my own thoughts on the songs. You'd probably have to listen to my other draft fairly closely, though, to really notice the changes.

This story actually really scared me! I initially thought something was suspicious when Arnold Friend "wagged a finger and laughed and said, 'Gonna get you, baby'" when Connie is out one night with her friends. This event foreshadows his later appearance, and the fact that he will eventually "get her." I started getting more suspicious when Arnold drives to Connie's house, and seems to know everything about her. For instance, he knows Connie's best friend's name, and the fact that her family has gone to a barbecue. When Connie realized that Arnold was really a forty year-old man, my heart started pounding as I began to understand what was happening. I began to hate Arnold more and more, I was thoroughly engaged in the story; I felt genuinely scared for Connie, cringing with fear, and hoping that she would somehow find a way out of the situation. The end of the short story came as a big disappointment to me.
