I just wanted to make it easier for me to get to my Final Portfolio.

I know O Brother Where Art Thou has the whole Odyssey thing going, but does anyone else notice how much of a tie to religion is in there? Is it just me or does that seem to be more prevalent than the major connections to the Odyssey?

Something I wasn't able to quite understand was why Chigurh told Carla Jean "I'm sorry." It really struck me kind of funny after we got more into the topic of what Chigurh might believe.

If Chigurh actually believes that it's not his fault, that Carla Jean was really the one that had caused it, or that it was her husband that did it, why does he apologize for having to kill her? If he was just keeping his word with Moss, why does it seem like he regrets having to do it? Even giving her the choice herself later on, rather than relying on the deal he'd made with her husband, he wants her to decide. He wants her to make the choice, to determine her "fate" even if he believes to already "know" what is going to happen. To me, if he is just following his own "moral" code, he shouldn't feel bad about it.

Perhaps it is just a plea to be "normal," not to mean anything, just to say something, but it seems as if he is showing some sort of regret for what he is doing.

I will edit this. I know I made no connection to the song I started with and I hardly made any connection to music, but I think the end is kinda good...? Transitions need some work, I just thought it was kinda long already and was unsure about the entire poem being included (but it seems somewhat necessary). Again, it will be revised.
