Revised Marilyn Monroe Collage
This is my final Marilyn Monroe collage. I finally got the hang of GIMP and here is the image I've been trying to convey. I did a time line of Marilyn's life. It starts from the left with Marilyn (the treadmill) starting in a vibrant, quaint environment. However, she is beckoned toward a door with her name in stars. This door leads to HOLLYWOOD. Inside, fame consumes and she does become a star however things are not what they seem. Everything is slowly turning to gray around her and and as she moves to the right, she becomes but a skeleton of her former self.

I like that you did a timeline from left to right instead of making the entire collage tell a chronological story. Also, the explanation was very helpful. When I first looked at the collage I didn't quite get it, but after reading why things were there I really like it (though I don't quite get the treadmill...?) Anyways- nice work- very creative
