What is your current favorite print text and what makes it worth a look?: John Steinbeck's East of Eden (though I feel like my answer to this question could change on any given day) The intricate interwoven stories of the two main families paired with the complexities of some of the characters makes it a very appealing read.
What is your current favorite non-print text and what makes it worth a look?: I'm not entirely sure what a 'non-print' text entails. I guess the closest association I can make is digital journalism, in which case I suppose my favorite would have to be The Digital Journalist's 100 Photographs that Changed the World. This is probably self explanatory, but I'll go ahead and say that there is just some amazing stuff in there...
What is the best part of being a student of English?: The fact that creativity is supported rather than squandered. Just to make it simple- I love reading and I love writing. You can experience most anything through the selection of an appropriate text, and writing is, to me, the greatest outlet for creativity and expression.
