College Students and Texting While Driving: PSA

I enjoyed making this video because I think it is something that as young adults navigating an increasingly connected world, who also most likely own a cell phone, we have all texted while driving a vehicle.

I really wanted this PSA to be the oppposite of what my Twitter Video was.  I wanted to produce something that was clear and effective and straight to the point, something that obviously communicated the message I was passionate about in an effective manner. 

However, what I did not want to do was to produce something that was violent or scared those that were watching it. I think that there are better ways to persuade or induce someone to act in a certain way.

Yes, texting while driving can be fatal and that is a gruesome reality, but this isn't something i thought was necessary to showcase in order to illustrate the importance of safe and responsible driving.

I hope my PSA serves three main purposes:

1. Clear and Concise

2. Informs you of some direct and relevant statistics

3. Introduces the idea of potentially changing your behavior to make you a more safe and careful driver
