I like the tone set up by the opening music. I had a bit of trouble processing the opening definition in the alloted time. I really like the historical approach and the detailed information on layering. The painting clip plays for a while. The overlayed text is nice to keep us moving along. I do wonder about what might be had from cutting it up a bit and weaving it together with more narration or text. The switch in fonts is a nice touch. I like the filming in the photoeditor. Positioning the layers palette a bit differently might amplify the effect of switching the opacity. The memes do well at showing the contemporary instantiations of the technique. Nicw work.
