Sylvia Plath Video Project

I did my video project on the poet and writer Sylvia Plath. Her works include the novel, The Bell Jar, and a vast array of poems that can be read in the publication, The Collected Poems. Sylvia led a short and colorful life filled with creativity, style, depression and drama. Her story is not all that complicated, Sylvia just couldn't find a resolution that suited her, other than death. My short film focuses on the normalcy of her life as a student, wife, mother and writer. Someone just like us who was plagued by depression in a time before modern medicine could have saved her life.
