A Demented Reality

Chang Lee walked through the park in his usual good mood. A passer by had the indecency to utter a racial slur toward Mr. Lee. "You slant eyed bastard, get out of my country." Mr. Lee being a worldy renound nuclear physicist was an entremely intelligent man. He could have responded with the theory of the melting pot which was an early name for America since America consisted of immigrants from every nation. But he might have well been speaking Greek to the ignorant racial "gentleman."

The following day at the afore metioned racial slurrist a.k.a Dick Smith's five star resturant, a Hispanic transgender female walked in and asked to speak with Dick. She was inquiring about the position available as Dick's assistant manager. Her qualifications included a master's degree in business management. However, she was one of two applicants to apply for the job. The other applicant was a white, hetro- sexual, middle-aged male named Biff. After dropping out his freshman year of college, Biff became the head cook at the local Burger Barn. Even though he could burn one of the best burgers in town, he was definately not qualified to manage a world renound five star establishment. But Dick, being the sorry son-of-a-bitch he was, told Juanita she was lacking one requirement. She was caught speeding when she was sixteen years old. Dick said "we don't need your sorry type around these parts."

As Jaunita left Dick's place, she was stunned to see a African-American being brutally beaten by seven burly white police people with big, hard sticks. Jaunita seeing the police pre-occupied with their beatings, decided that a new T.V would cheer her up. She borrowed a police stick and beat the hell out of Dick and Biff, the man who recieved the job. After the beating was complete she ganked Dick's new T.V.

Though this story might seem completely absurd and offensive, it does hold truths about the state of our society. Our individual papers will try to analyze some of the issues outlined in the story above and give some possible solutions.
