E306 CA,27195 Policy Statement:

Attendance: Each student will be allowed three absences with no penalty.
Any additional unexcused absences will result in the lowering of half a letter from the student's final grade.
Dishonesty: Students are bound by the Division of Rhetoric and Composition's Statement on Scholastic Responsibility.
You should read and understand the statement, before signing and returning it to me.
Assignments: Each student will work on a project draft and a revision during each of our five activities.
There will be three individual and two collaborative projects.
There will be two graded homework assignments during each of the five activities. There will be four quizzes covering readings.
Assignment specifics and readings will be distributed electronically during the semester.
Grading: The individual projects will be given a letter grade.
Each student will receive an individual letter grade for work in the two collaborative projects.
These five grades will be averaged into a paper grade.
The final grade in the class will be assigned according to the following breakdown: Paper Grade......70%
Homework..........20%
Quizzes...............10%
