E 306CA, 27195, Week Two, September 7 and 9.

This page documents week two of the syllabus, a kind of electronic journal entry.

We began the day with disk formatting instructions.

We opened the file called "Wednesday's task," located on the "Classroom" volume, in the "Teaching" folder, in the "Anderson" folder.

We saved the file in normal and text only formats, then we copied Daedalus Write to our disks. it was located on the "CWRL_Mac" hard drive, in the "Courseware' folder, in the "Classroom Quickstart" folder. We copied the "Daedalus Write" folder to our disks.

Then we opened "Mosaic", entered the URL: http://sites.unc.edu/daniel/two.html

And so here we are. Explore the syllabus for a while. You might want to go to the main node for our first unit, Written Arguments, or to the transcript of our InterChange on censorship, though it will take a while to load the thing. You can also go back to the UT home page. Explore some stuff; let me know if you need help, or if it is too confusing. Have some fun.

One Friday, the 9th, we talked about our first paper assignment and this weekend's task of writing two 150 word article summaries. The articles should concern the topic of the first paper 1. Mclain Hall's summaries have been posted.

Click an image above to move on to other course units, or select:

Other student created work can be found at the weekly class summaries.

Return to the syllabus, go to the policy statement, or back to Daniel's home page, to the CWRL home page, or to the UT home page.
