The task for today is to analyze some of the messages in some newsgroups related to a current topic, in this case, the O.J. Simpson verdict. Look at the various newsgroups below and carefully read through a thread of discussion, thinking about the various strategies that the authors use to make their points. When you have a thought closely about the way some of the messages work, the task for the rest of the day is to post you own message to our class forum on communities and interactions. When finished, read and respond to other messages, either in the class forum or in the original newsgroups.
