Project 2, Task 6

At this point you should have finished writing the second paper. You should have put the paper through the review process outlined in task four. The aim of this final task is to post the papers to the web. If you are not enrolled in the course, you can create you web papers and send me the URL. Otherwise, follow the instructions below.

Now, you will need to have an electronic version (disk copy) of the paper to do the task for today.

Open BBEdit Lite and get a new file. Go to the Extensions menu and select Document.
Enter the name of your paper in the title window then click OK.
Save the html file with your last name in lower case letters into the folder in our teacher folder called "project2."
Now open your paper with Microsoft Word. Copy the text of the paper, then paste it into the BBEdit file.
Add whatever paragraph markings you need to the paper and any other formatting.
Give it a heading.
Finally, make a link at the top of the paer to whatever newsgroups or MUDs you discuss in the paper. If you are talking about an IRC channel, then see me and I can help with the link.
If you are linking to a newsgroup, use the command "news:[name.of.group]"
If you are linking to a MUD, use the command "telnet://[address.of.MUD]
