THE FIGHT AGAINST TRANSSEXUALS:
A LOST CAUSE
As we move toward the year two-thousand, everything in our world is changing
dramatically. Drugs have moved into the inner cities and taken control of our
neighborhoods and children. Violence has hit an all time high and is steadily
increasing. Our ozone is depleting due to pollution and the removal of the
rain forests. Police officers, whom we used to turn to in times of trouble,
are now feared by many of those in our society. And, of course, people are
becoming transsexuals and cross-dressers. These are all major problems that
concern each and every one of us, except one. Transsexuals and cross-dressers
are merely people who have a fetish with becoming or portraying the opposite
sex. Cross-dressers are men or women who do not change their sex biologically,
but dress and act as the opposite sex. Transsexuals, however, often go to the
extent of having a sex change to become the opposite sex. Undoubtedly,
transsexualism and cross-dressing has gained much attention over the last few
years. But, are transsexualism and cross-dressing REALLY a problem in our
society? Does transsexualism really affect each and every one of us? If not,
then why has society placed it in this group of issues that is "destroying our
world?" Many may not encourage transsexualism, believe that it's right, or
want to have anything to do with it. If this is the case, then why does our
society get involved and worry so much about it? Transsexuals are facing violence
throughout our society by the public, government, and doctors.
Those who are oppossed to transsexualism must realize that transsexualism is
here to stay.
It's time for us to take charge and rid of the violence and hatred that is
ruining our nation. By creating a tolerance towards transsexuals through
education and legislation, we will see a dramatic decrease in violence.
People will start to have a better understanding of who transsexuals and
cross-dressers really are. When society starts to understand, the fear
diminishes and a society with less fear is always a better place to live.
Transsexualism doesn't have to be a problem if we don't want it to be.
If you think about it, the transsexuals and cross-dressers aren't the ones
creating all the problems. The ones who cause all the trouble are those who
act in violent ways against transsexuals and cross-dressers. This is what we
must remember. We have the control and power to help our nation solve this
problem. The only thing left to do is take charge. It's up to you to make
that decision.
