I'd like to do my video on how we relate to and interact with people on twitter and how that reflects who we are. In today's world, not only are we able to communicate with our friends from all over the world in just seconds, with tools like twitter we can see what strangers or celebraties are up to.

Twitter Video Proposal: Tweeting Athletes

I hope to create an entertainment video centered on the topic of athletes who tweet during their respective games. This topic has become a new controversy in sports as owners and league operators decide if rules need to be put in place to prevent these athletes from live broadcasting to the world from their smartphones during major sporting events.

Online Film Discussions

                My video will be about the different ways that people can discuss films on the internet.  On the internet, there are countless forums in which filmgoers can discuss what they liked or disliked about certain films, and have in-depth discussions about the artistic merit of these films. Twitter is a medium in which people are able to quickly publish their general feelings about a film, basically just stating whether they like or dislike the movie and including a few words about what they liked or disliked in the film.

Twitter's effect on investors/ Wall Street

I started with a broad topic, the impact of twitter on the investment world, but after some research and brainstorming, I plan to narrow my topic down to the impulsive responses caused by twitter. As we had mentioned in class, twitter increases the velocity of information as it has created a platform for instantaneous communication amongst all corners of the World Wide Web. I hope to create a video that is most closely associated with the rhetorical goal of being informative.
